1.466 Ha of the township of Sort are within the protected area of the only existing national park in Catalonia.
In the old school of Llessui –another of the settings for the novel Les veus del Pamano-, you will find the Ecomuseum of the Shepherds of the Valley of Àssua and one of information offices to the Aigüestortes and Estany Sant Maurici National, since Llessui has become one of the main accesses to the park.
From there, many guided tours and trips start.
